Managing Behavior Analyst, Crown Point
Colleen May is the managing behavior analyst in Crown Point. She started in the field of autism in 2011 as a behavior technician. Early on, she knew she wanted to help young people become more independent, learn new skills, and reduce behaviors that interfere with growth and learning.
Colleen joined LEARN Behavioral in 2017 and has worked in a variety of roles. She has supervised behavior analysts, done research, and led training for parents and families of children with autism.
Colleen holds a master’s degree in special education from Ball State University, where she focused on applied behavior analysis (ABA). She also has a Ph.D. in ABA from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. When she is not working, Colleen enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and reading.
“Nothing excites me more than being able to work with my clients and see their progress every day. I also like overseeing my team and working together to improve each client’s program.”
